Writer's Block: Celebrating Friendships
Wow, LJ sure used to be a big part of my life. I met my husband through this site in a way, though that wouldn't have happened if we didn't have common friends at the time. It's funny. I am really glad I went back and made all of my old entries private because I have changed from the person I was back then, and in a good way. I think (HOPE) I am less whiny and melodramatic than I used to be. I try not to run to the internet as an outlet for my feelings as much anymore since there are so many people I am connected to on my social sites like facebook and myspace. Back in the "good old days", it was pretty much just Erin, Kevin, and a couple of other friends who I would vent to. Now, I have to think about who all is "watching". I don't like to paint a bad picture of myself... regardless of if it's accurate or not.
