I know that I couldn't post this on the Craig thread..understandably...

Ok..I am on a disability rant. Yup...haven't been like that for awhile. The past few days I feel like I have been discriminated against. That I am not able to do online what the average "Joe" can do to spend money.

Here goes the story. My friend Michelle and I decided Thursday that we would go on a road trip this weekend. It was the start of her break from work at the university. She is a Hugh Jackman fan, and me, yes, Craig. I briefly told her in an email that Craig was going to be in Indianapolis, IN. Four hours from here.

We decided...Hell yeah...lets go.

So since Thursday of this week I have contacted LiveNation.com which sells tickets to concerts, etc. for venues. I went online...to get accessible tickets you fill out a form. Someone is supposed to call you within an hour.

I waited and waited...nothing. I called at 4p.m. saying I had never been called. The rep said that the ADA special would call me Friday. No call. So I was on the phone for almost 4 hours yesterday. Two, two hour periods. Nothing on hold. I have yet to hear from anyone.

Michelle and I called today...no answer. So no tickets to Craig. I would have been spending about 200 hundred dollars.

Mind you, I don't blame Craig Ferguson or Randy Kagan. I blame society and venues for being so fucking picking in the way people with disabilities are handled for a social event. For Christ's sake it isn't the 1950's.

Here is the letter that I wrote both Craig (doubt that he gets it), Randy (he will read it) and Craig's booking agent. I think the booking agent especially, would want to be aware of the situation.

Here is the letter.......

Frustration in purchasing tickets to you and C.F.'s
performance..please read.

I promise that this is the last letter I will write. I know you are busy. I feel that I can trust you with this information.

If you haven't noticed by my letters, etc. I am a very very strong willed individual. I feel like you and C.F. as entertainers wanting people in your audiences, especially during these economic times should be aware of this.

I tried for 3 days to purchase tickets for your Indianapolis gig. No response from the ticket venue.

Here is my letter. I am feeling a bit discriminated against..which is not a feeling I get often.

I sent the below copy of a letter to CBS .... hoping Craig will see it and I wrote his booking agent, and LiveNation.

Please know....and I mean this STRONGLY..it isn't your fault or Mr. Ferguson's.

I can fight like fucking hell.

Dear Mr. Ferguson:

I am writing you as a fan, but mostly as a consumer who is a person with a disability and as a person who is a strong disability advocate.

I am not sure you will get this email, but I felt it necessary to write regarding an issue
of discrimination in trying to see you live ..

I am a big fan of yours, so when you perform live at venues near my town, I try to go. As distance traveling being on a ventilator and wheelchair is difficult.
For three days straight I tried to get wheelchair accessible tickets to your Indianapolis, IN show at the Murat Theater on March 8th, 2009.

Since Thursday, March 5, 2009 I called the Murat Theater, which then connected me to LiveNation. com which was selling tickets to your performance. On Thursday
I was assured that I would get an ADA disability specialist to call within an hour to sell me tickets. I waited 4 hours with NO call. I then proceeded to call Live Nation
and the representative said that I would be getting a call Friday March 6th, 2009 regarding tickets.

I waited for 7 hours with no cal backl. I then again, called Live Nation and was put on hold for 2 hours. Like a fool, or a "fan", I tried again, for two hours. Finally I had to hang up
because I received no response. Being on a ventilator, you can only wait on the phone for so long.

Today, Saturday, March 7th, I tried Live Nation again with no response. I even tried the online purchasing @ livenation. com. They do NOT have an option for persons with disabilities
to straight out purchase tickets. A representative is supposed to call within a hour. No call. I called LiveNation again with no response, only customer service on hold.

I feel that you as an entertainer, should know that people with disabilities purchase tickets for comedy, concerts, etc. We have the ability to be social. I feel like I was deprived of that
as an individual.

Mr. Ferguson, I know it is not your fault. I just felt that you should know who is behind selling the tickets to the venues you play.
I regret missing your performance in Indianapolis, IN. It was close to home. I would love to attend a TLLS taping but flying
commercially for a person with a disability, especially using a wheelchair and a ventilator is extremely difficult, if not impossible.

Thanks, you are the best....

Sincerely,
Annette M. Hanna
