Just think-- a dry day!
We've had so much rain around here (about 11 inches in the last 10 days or so) that my back yard is like a small swamp. The neighbor lady has water in her garage, and came and asked my hubby if she could do something to stop the water seeping in. Don't know what she has in mind, short of trenching it. And why ask us?? Her garage is built right on the lot line, so she'd better not think she's running a trench on OUR property-- I have enough of my OWN water problems, thank you very much. At least we are both lucky and don't get water in our basements. Almost everyone else around her has THAT for a problem!
