(no subject)
After over six hours in the car today in blazing hot Arizona, i finally was glad i was in the car. I was listening to the Washing Machine (Sonic Youth) and this thunderstorm passed by us... and there was no rain, but just crazy lightning and it was amazing with the music. damn, i love moments like those.
we went to this huge cave today, which was amazing because it was so well preserved. 85% of it was still living and almost all of it has never been touched by human hands or any animals, in general. its just crazy to think that it was still there during the renaissance, during the spanish conquerers, during the first homosapiens, during every single thing in history that seems so long ago for us.... but is so brief for the cave. In five cenntuuries, every soda straw, or stalactite or stalagmite can grow only 1 mm. shit dawg. i'm glad no one has ruined it yet.
i got a mood ring and that made me happy.... i stole hannahs for a while and fell in love with it... but then i had to return it.... i don't believe that it works, but i like the color changes... :)
i cant wait to come home... i was really sad when i read all that stuff about jakes get-together today... it made me want to be back sooo bad... oh well.
hannah i miss you a lot too!! i think about you every day, as well, darling! if you want to go to the cmap, please go to the camp. i'm really regretting cancelling india right now... :(
