pride from doing a good job... a few pat on the backs coupled with "atta boy"... or being told/knowing that "it'll look good on a resume" is not nearly enough payment for all of the extra shit im taking on at the restaurant.
oh, and the fact that im a cash out, head wait, bartender, key employee, wrote the schedule for the entire front of house staff (40+ employees) for over a year (even when on vacation), am now in charge of the host stand, and, next pay period (2 weeks) will be taking over payroll for the entire staff, and doing ALL the invoices for everything that comes into our restaurant, but still get paid $2.13 an hour, same amount as a new hire, when im on the floor, and only the base pay of $100 a shift when i manage (week day PM shifts) with NO BONUS or benefits of any kind, is getting REALLY OLD!!!!
and the amount of times that ive gone in for meetings on days off, hell ive even come back early from a vacation to attend a fucking meeting, is really beginning to piss me off!
...and now its time for me to go to work...
