Remnants of Bygone Eras

The last weekend of October, several years ago, a young woman checked into my small bed-and-breakfast. I was busy preparing for visitors coming out to see the end of fall’s colors.

Ahhh, RVC, this was a delightful, spooky-sweet little piece and I adore it. Very, very good job :)

In my mind, she lived in that old Victorian a long time ago and lost her first baby there. *sniff* She's rocking her now, though, and they're together for eternity.
