Prompt: Defeat is Optional
(side note: Ashton is actually my pen name and when I wrote this piece I didn't even notice that I used it at first. I have a character from eons ago that I named who is a southern bell. I kinda forgot her until I wrote this.)
“Darling, you ain’t seen nothin’! Y’all just go on back. Ms. Ashton in her Chrome Tailgate Lady will show you city folk just how to play in this here mud.” The buxom blond with the southern drawl laughed as the boys from up north took their seats back in their Toyota pickup.
She climbed up into her jacked up, American made truck and snatched them out of the mud. At one point her truck tried to sink in the quagmire but she smiled and reminded the Lady that defeat is optional, if you know how to actually drive your truck.
