Gothic Horror Challenge 2010

Beware, there be poetry--rather bad poetry--under the cut. You are warned.

All I ask is a kiss
A smooch, a peck, a touch of lips.
I’ve followed you all your life
Surely this reward you can give.

Come now, darling, it’s not much to ask.
I promise this small balm
I’ll make it quick and painless
Please don’t resist.

You’ll be mine eventually.
None can resist.
A kiss to thank me for the time
I’ve cheerfully granted you.

That’s it, lean in.
Now kiss, relax, close your eyes.
Amid the smell of bitter almonds
You’re mine now, your life’s end with a cyanide kiss-

Safely home, my love, Death’s at last.
