(no subject)
now im pissed off. I had just started typing my first blog, and i thought id put my mood on 'cranky'. well, as soon as i click the cranky, the browser i was using lj on closed. Just like that! isn't that a crapper. Well, as i was saying, i went to a rock concert last night, except 3/5 bands sucked! first one, the lead wouln't stop screaming. Others just sucked. Also, my mom checked edline (online school grades) and i had to get up at whatever 6:30 time this morning. i'm supposed to be doing research for an english project on mob mentality (using the book "The Crucible")... one of those monster five section ECR's. you gotta hate them. any suggestions gratefully accepted...!
i have a recital tomorrow, playing two pieces: Handel's Suite 3 (Prelude and fugue)and Scriabin's Etude in C# minor. Next weekend I think im playing The scriabin and something else, a Hadyn thing. Those runs in classical music (as opposed to romantic or baroque or renaissance or modern etc) always get me, they're the ones that always fall apart even if i practice them for eeeeeeveer !!!!!!!! argh
i much prefer stuff like scriabin, tchaikovsky, rachmaninoff, rimsky-korsakov, rubinstein. then again, i also like stuff like Tom Lehrer, so there. My favourite of his songs is 'Pollution'
maybe next time i will rant about the environment,.....
anyone who wants, go ahead and make me your friend, i will try find out how to mke you mine
ooooh, nice. Just having some tea to make my throat less painful: loud yesterday (duh its a rock concert!) so i talked real loud. added some honey for that extra soothing touch! (sorry if i sound like an ad for tea!)
