Hey~
So today (read yesterday) was the last day of the festival my town has (Festival Vallenato) and I decided to go to the last concert it held this night, mostly because we had Daddy Yankee as the international performer.
AND. IT. WAS.
AWESOME!
Gah, why didn't I take my camera with me, seriously!! *hopes someone else has the decency to upload it on youtube.*
The guy seriously knows how to put on a show! My hips, legs and arms hurt from dancing so much on the spot, and surprisingly my throat doesn't after singing... no, SCREAMING his songs. XD But that's probably because it's too numb to feel the pain. I get the feeling I'll be paying dearly for abusing it for over an hour.
The dancers were amazing, the lighting... THE FIREWORKS!! Gah, I'm still pissed for not having taken my glasses or contact lenses with me, I could have appreciated all of these things even more if I had... Luckily, a friend of mine brought along some binoculars and that helped, but you can't move around while holding those to your eyes, so~ ¬_¬ *kicks her severe-but-not-severe-enough-to-be-operated case of myopia.*
What really annoyed me was this old guy sitting beside me that complained when I screamed after the performer said something. He was like, "You just screamed because he said something in english." And I said, "... Yah, I can speak english, I know what he said." Douche.
And then my foot cramped up during the last song. XD No mas dancing.
I'm pretty sure the show isn't over yet (It's currently 3:30 AM, and most of the time they're not over until like 6) but the part that followed DY's presentation was the finale of an accordion-playing contest that lasted too much, and even if we would miss out on three other local musicians, we decided the first had been good enough. :P
Ok, I'm talking too much. Gonna go crash now.

EDIT: LOL, My neighbours just came back from the show too. They're complaining, "too many kids there" or something. Sweet payback for the incredibly loud music they've been playing all week, ahahaha! ( ...I think I hate on too many people, orz) *shuts up*
