Well there is likely to be rejoicing from HP slash fiction writers everywhere. Accoding to CNN Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the boy wizard Harry Potter, has accepted a stage role that will require him to drop the robes.

It's always strange to watch the evolution of an actor, especially one that starts his career as a child. For me the initial shock probably more has to do with the fact that I picture him as his most famous role. Mr. Radcliffe is growing up and taking on new roles and I am betting that he's wanting to make sure that he includes a little more diversity on his resume. In any case the role that he's playing a role that's a bit different than the boy wizard that so many people adore.
