kanjani 8,one of jhony's group that differ them self from other jhon's group.this is the story of my encounter to the hillarious super heros that called them self eito renja *wich supposed to be eight*
Couple of week ago *couldn’t recall how many tough* I was in one of those boring week end with nothing to do and all by my self in the house cause the others obviously had their own things on their week end so I decided to rummage around my HD and accidentally come across Some of newly downloaded and hasn’t been watch file. Couple of them is Johnny’s countdown files. I was thinking to my self, I don’t think I have ever saw this before tough I have couple of them and so I decided to give it a try. I started to watch 2004-2005 count down. It was all like that, couple of Johnny’s being announce and they showed up singing their song and I started t think “okay I think its not really that interesting especially cause I haven’t seen V6 in one of the guys that been called “ and I decided to just turn it off but when I was about to push the stop button v6 appear singing arigatou no uta. Yeah finally. I was thinking that maybe after this song I’ll turn it off but as the song ended and they showed some unrelated clips *maybe its related to something I don’t understand of* something caught my ear, the sound of Japanese traditional drum *I don’t know what it called* and the voice that come after it and the rap and the song came after it, wait a sec, its enka isn’t it? its not something that I usually hear from any of the Johnny’s. This is something unusual. I started to watch it again, couple of young boys, wearing traditional Japanese clothing, with hanabi pattern and singing traditional Japanese song style and there’s the traditional drum too. It kind a Japanese summer season looks a like. Who are these people? I didn’t recognize any of them except for one particular person that I think I have seen in of jdorama’s. I rewind the vid again to the part where there name is being called and I saw their name at the screen either. Kanjani 8. I’m telling my self “I think I like these group.
I remember reading their name couple of time in one of my MP’s contact blog. Soo I decided to check her blog and found some of her enteresting writing. And I started to wrote to her bout my sudden interest of this group and as I expected, she stared to fill me in bout them. Giving me some link to their material, profile, pictures and stuff. And I started to googling and found some of their vid on CR and Youtube, found some of their hilarious PV and their appearance as a guest in shows like Utaban, Hey3X and domotou kyoudai and some of their own variety show. They are hilarious and they even forming up superhero team *well,it was supposed to be that way * the eito renja with different colour just like the usual super sentai and hey man, I’m a fan of tokusatsu, all kind of tokusatsu,even the weird one.
Black ranger: Yokoyama yu the big guy with funny gesture that often said suited more as a comedian then as Johnny’s but insisting in telling them that he is jhony and got bullied a lot by nakai at the utaban even calling him yokoyama yoko. He’s a good singer and actor *been watching some of his dorama’s* and a good comedian
Purple ranger : Shingo murakami, yoko’s partner of crime in causing their part of guest in some of TV shows are hilarious and fun to watch. His nickname is hina *don’t know where that came from tough* He’s a fast thinker,it show in dokkiri how his friend try to give him a surprise wake up call but they got surprise instead because when they try to sneak in to his room to wake him up he instantly said “dokkiri?” right after he open his eye. His a handsome person actually, with that funny tooth. If only he could act a bit quitter,cooler. But then again, if he’s quite than his not hina.
Orange ranger: Maruyama ryuhei the long face’s person. His funny in his own way,soo care free and a good actor *been watching jitensha shounenki* his kind a cute in his own way.
Green ranger: Ohkura tadayoshi, the quite drummer. He doesn’t talk a lot. well I guess he think it’s unnecessary to force him self to talk when the other already fill the room with their voice’s. he’s kind a cute either. I like his solo,mamoritai. Poor person tough cause in K8 first appearance he doesn’t got a lot of attention due to him being the drummer and had to stay in the back part of the stage. I wish he could talk a little more.
Blue ranger: Yasuda shota *yasu-I know where that came from*. He’s a handsome person, who cares for his appearance a lot and owns a pierce in his belly button. He likes to wear colorful outfit, wearing a pinky ring wich nakai kun of utaban found this as a way of yasu saying look I’m gay~ I don’t know bout this one tough cause he kept saying that he’s not gay and that pinky ring and manicure and nail polish is some thing of fashion. He own a nice voice. I like his watashi kagami. And he’s a good actor *try to watch jitensha shounenki and dive to the future*
Red ranger : shibutani Subaru, his voice is the one that caught my attention in the first place. And it is true that his voice is the finest among k8. he can sing enka *obviously* that fact Is the one that made me grew like him even more, and he can sing lots of other kind of music. A bit wild at stage *I’ve seen one of their concert and read and also heard bout his craziness*, he always wore some kind of glove that cover a part of his hands and palm that I later know was to cover his not so nice to see tattoo *haven’t seen it tough*. He’s kind a quite tough on talk shows *or is it because of hina and yoko’s loud talking and talk activeness?*
Yellow ranger: nishikido ryo, this person was the only person that I recognize when I first saw kanjani8,due to his appearance on dorama like ichi ritoru no namida that I once like to see and his also a part of News, another Johnny’s group with yamapi as the leader. He has his own unique sound. He is one of the three sounds of kanjani 8 that I like on the 2004 - 2005 Johnny’s countdown. He’s a quite one on k8 said to be sharp tongue person *tough I haven’t seen that part of him* and he look very Osaka like *with dark skin and all*,sexy~
Pink ranger : uchi hiroki, the very jhony’s part of K8. With his girly gesture and all,always clinging to ryo all the time and they were like best friend, maybe. He was suspended from jhony’s for couple of year due to him being caught on under age drinking and had to star his work all over from the verry bottom of jhony’s ranks,lower then junior *that’s what I heard* but then in 2007 he started to appear again in Playzone and some dorama’s. although his returning on Kanjani 8 is still not yet confirmed.
What I like the most bout kanjani8 up to this moment is their craziness on talk show’s and concert, their eito renja skit that I found very entertaining, their all time support for uchi hiroki that they secretly shows and not secretaly shows in different kind of way, their carefree manner at all time and their funny songs and PV’s that always entertaining at all time and not to forget their sexy interesting Osaka ben 8 *I’d love to learn Japanese language and Osaka ben*.
I still has lots of thing to catch up on these guys. But hey, I had lots of free time to fill right. I’m going to wait patiently for kanjani 8 to be 8 person again, not 7.
