(no subject)
i had to go to nick's apartment and wait for the gas man. i didn't want to be here because i didn't even eat yet! so i wanted to leave a note like the one in dumb and dumber. haha! hi.
so the gas man came but it turned out to be a gasWOMAN! haha how sexist am i?! maybe i should have waited for the STEWARDESS too! geez. anyway.. she was SOOO NICE! GEEZ! i wanted to ask her to stay for some tea or something! she was asking me all these questions like if i knew if we had our own water heater or where the furnace was and if the heater was gas or electric.. and i didn't know SHIT! i felt like a ditzy girl that just cooks and cleans.... minus the cooking and cleaning. i wanted to tell her that i know how to fix sinks and random stuff around the house! but that would just be awkward.
she went into the kitchen to test the oven and stove.. and i felt bad because i know the stove knobs are all greasy and shit because nick never cleans it. so after that she went to the sink to wash her hands. i said, "sorry, i know it's greasy" and she was like "no that's okay i just had some dust from the meters outside". then i saw that the DISHES WERE PILED UP SO HIGH it was sort of in the way. and i was like, "sorry he never washes the dishes either haha" and she said it was okay and that they never change.. her husband is the same way. HAHA i was so embarassed. oh and this was all AFTER she went to the furnace upstairs and took off the filter that was caked with dirt like CRAZY! and i was just talking about how the air never reaches downstairs. hmm i wonder why. she was like, you kind of want to change this every 2 months and she laughed. nick has lived here since june of last year and i didn't even KNOW there was a filter there.
THEN i asked her about the fireplace if there's a thing to open or close it? i've heard of a damper and some other fireplace-type stuff but i had no clue. so she showed me too and was explaining all these things and the stupid ass lever was RIGHT THERE! i wanted her to leave already because she probably thought i was the biggest idiot EVER. i'm surprised she didn't ask me if i've ever lived indoors before.

and on another random note... i'm watching judge judy (HAHA i know, shutup) and this girl complained that her boyfriend scratched her CD's on purpose. and they zoomed in on the cd and it was the NOW (that's what i call music) CD volume 19 or something. HAHA OH MAN i just went to their site and they have TAGGING font for the links. ... http://www.nowthatsmusic.com/
