I literally ran from my dinner when I heard the news so that I could post this as quickly as possible:

SMAP's Kusanagai Tsuyoshi was arrested for public indecency after apparently getting drunk and running around a public park naked.

I shouldn't laugh at someone getting arrested, but I find this to be absolutely hysterical. I'm in tears with laughter

lol, yeah, I kinda died when I heard about this too XD and then I went "oh thank god it wasn't a kattun member..."

I feel bad for the group though...I hope this doesn't mess up their careers as well:S

That is absolutely crazy. Things like this make me wonder what was going on that he let it happen. I mean, it's not like idols don't know that they'd be in big trouble if they did something dumb like this. And I'm interested to see the outcome of it. On one hand, Johnny's is going to have to put the smack-down on him. On the other hand, isn't SMAP one of those groups that is all over the place in Japan?

Oh, SMAP is EVERYWHERE, and as I suspected, it's turned into a HUGE mess: cancelled commercial contracts, getting dropped from variety shows, his upcoming movie is in the lurch... they're saying that the total losses may end up being in the range of 50 million dollars. Friends don't let friends get drunk and then wander into a park at 3 am! I mean, geeze, the guy's lucky he was only arrested.

Actually, considering that two members of NEWS were busted for underaged drinking when they were found plastered and wandering around a park...

I'm pretty sure that the Johnny's offices are filled with panicked management and handlers breathing into paper bags and trying not to cry.

Well, Goro-kun was busted for a hit-and-run back in 2001-ish, and he eventually came back so... then again, running around a park naked (while apparently singing and shouting "Shingooo!") is likely a far bigger embarrassment.

I seriously feel so BAD for him, but at the same, time, too too funny.
