walking with a purpose
i just got really really nostalgic about the rio grande speech and debate tournaments
...random, i know
i love how everyone was always all in the christmas spirit. and almost all the schools were always there so it was a big tournament and there was a lot of room for socializing adventures (and drama)
and it was always really really cold, and they always managed to run really late, so before the second debate round on friday nights, we'd be standing around in the bitter cold late at night w/our lovely opponent, waiting for a judge to come save us. and the south valley sketchiness always added a nice touch.
and the bathroom doors were too high when you sat down to pee haha
and then on saturday we'd give out candy canes and wait around forever for the awards ceremony before heading off to a warm team dinner
