I really suck at this.
Thought lately...I suck at writing a lot too.
Uh..lesse.....Astirian Winds is my thesis...and rewriting SUCKS!!!
I HATE IT! Boring! GAH!
::takes a deep breath:: I mean...it's alright overall, I guess. At least I already have a book written...its not like I have compeletely blank pages in front of me, but God...it's hard to go back and sneak shit in.
My mentor, Dave, (wonderful man) says that the biggest thing I need to do is add more description. Which, all in all, is wonderful. However, its easier said than done. I'm working on it, but I find that it's a lot easier to start with a blank page than it is to shimmy things into what I already have written. It's kinda frustrating at times.
The next deadline is the 27th again. I'll be ready, but it's kinda slow going. I'm submitting the same portion (60 double spaced pages) that I submitted last time, just with description added in, and I'm almost done...but....GAH! I miss book three!!!!!!!!!
I think I'm going to cut a new deal with myself. I can take at least one day a week to work on book three, and spend the majority of the rest of my time working on making AW the best damn thing it can be.
...and maybe I'll try to use this thing a little more often too. Once a week at least perhaps.
Oo! Idea. Maybe, I could try writing here my goals for the week on Monday, and then check in on Friday. Okay. Tomorrow is Monday...let's see how that works out...^_^;;
