And so, Ginko returns back to his world.
Dropped all my games; mayfield_rpg, memento_eden, and quovadis_rp.
I feel like I've already said this before, but it wasn't in this journal, so I need to try to remember what I told people in chat, heh; basically, while I wouldn't trade back all that time spent RPing for the world, the fact remains that my life stayed the same from when I started RP to now, with the exception of me FINALLY getting a fulltime position so I could afford to move out of my parents' house. As you can see from previous entries, I am ready to get my butt movinggg. Inginging. In addition, I want to take my 'old' hobbies back, like drawing and practicing Japanese.
RP was definitely a positive force in my life, though. Would you believe me if I said I seriously think it helped to improve my relationship with Dewar, in terms of me seeing his point of view more clearly? That's all thanks to Priscilla, and to Hibari. My writing also improved...some...sorta. >>; Personally I think my writing has only ever really improved a LOT after reading good books, like Terry Pratchet's Discworld series, or Elizabeth Wiley's "A Sorcerer and A Gentleman". Hey, now I'll have more time to read books!!
I made a terrible dorky video of death, because I was so freaking sad about saying goodbye to this whole world I've been a part of for the past 2 1/2 years, so. So watch it maybe. -_-
Man, I was expecting to write this enormous huge essay all about this decision and all my gratitude I have for you RPers and mods and everything but I guess I'll just end it with some sparkle text? ;;
