Mushishi - Chapter 43 "Pillow of Grass" p.1
No actual complete translation, sorry guys, but I can give you a vague idea of what is going on because I've kinda vaguely translated this, I just haven't taken a kanji dictionary to it, so bits of it are still...vague.
Oh god, guys, check out that chapter name. EVEN THE TITLE IS MOE. It's even more moe when you see the chapter image on page 3, ufufufu.
Okay, young!Ginko chapter, GO!!
"hmm these mushi are actin' funny"
says our scruffy unnamed Mushishi friend
t-that's a lot of mushi gathered into one place, I wonder what's going o--

Why, we know that face! Except this Ginko is wearing a kimono. Basically, Ginko wears his western-style clothing when it's his present age and stuff, and anything from his childhood, he's shown wearing the same clothes as everyone else. Our author is a mysterious person.
Flashback to some spooky mushi looking and watching kid Ginko. Ginko is all "what da fuck are you looking at do you want to eat me or something" but luckily the mushi does not seem hungry. :O
The mushi is wondering 'what' Ginko is......and then he wakes up! Totally reminiscent of the Nui-Yoki scene. 8O Except instead of crying about being lost, Ginko grabs some food.

"green eye, white hair...i've heard rumors about you and stuff"

Here, it gets a little difficult. I think he asks Ginko why he was lying there with the mushi gathering around him, and Ginko is like "I wanted them to eat me" I think. Oh ho ho ho rambunctious youth~ Suguro introduces himself as a Mushishi that works around the mountain here, see

And thus lots of disturbing yaoi was spawned of these two, I bet. Ewwwwwwwww. (*would probably sneak a peak out of rabid curiosity*) BUT ANYWAY, this is important, Suguro sees that the Tokoyami is in Ginko's eye socket!! *AYAME TAKES FURIOUS NOTES, SO THAT'S WHY IT'S BLACK* Also, Ginko is hearing about the Tokoyami for the first time!!

Young Ginko's like "GET IT OUT OF ME PLOX, IT'S THE REASON THAT MUSHI FOLLOW ME AROUND RITE"
And Suguro informs him that unfortunately, Ginko's magnetism of mushi is unrelated to the TOkoyami, and cannot be cured.
Suguro is like "sorry...but hey hang out with me" or something, and GAWD LOOK, HE'S LOOKING BACK AT GINKO FROM THE DOOR TOTALLY MORE NUI-YOKI PARALLELS Except he's inviting Ginko to stay instead of Nui going "hurry up and get out of my house, kid" lollll
Ginko recognizes that this place is on a light vein (he has SOME prior experience with mushi stuffs thanks to the nomads and Isaza♥), and wonders if the scary dark mushi he saw earlier was a master. And then he says something that I'd need a kanji dictionary to figure out, dang. But it's something emo, I'm sure.

Suguro's gonna show him around, yay! They're talking about medicinal herbs I think.
"make sure to smoke that more so that you keep the mushi away, it'll help"
