started typing about 1 minute after I got out of bed
I think it started at Western, or some sort of version of Western, and maybe some building that was some version of Old Main, and it was at night, and for some reason instead of sleeping, I was dealing with that fact that super-spooky Gaara from the first Naruto series was there in the spooky room, and things got kinda...weird, and there was sand and weirdness and crap, and then it was day and Derek was waiting outside so I wanted to go out and see him but I had to finish up something inside first? I think it involved my parents wanting to know what Gaara was doing there?
Fast-forward to later, we were at some sort of sort-of anime convention, and the voice-actors for something were doing this crazy awesome skit, and then the guy that voices Touga from Utena showed up even and they all did their crazy seiyuu hi-jinx, which apparently meant running around to different spots of the convention, so we were trying to keep up with them to see all the events they were doing, and one of them of course involved Touga's voice actor and some other voice actor doing some yaoi fanservice for all the fangirls or something, and I was like "oh god gotta take pictures and send to Teresa" and one of my friends who was with me (no idea who it was, I think my dream made her up) actually went crazy and jumped up there and attack-glomped Koyasu!! Koyasu, that's his name, that's right. After that craziness, I got a glimpse of Kevin from AIYA in the crowd, so I ran over there and said hi to Bronwyn and Kevin, who were like "fangirls...wow."
And then for some reason, all these people weren't there for an anim con, it was for Evergreen Orchestra's next BAroque festival or something?! And we had to get to the performance hall before it started!!!! so we took some really, erm, cozy weird monorail thingy over there, but you had to stand, and it was, erm, cozy. And I'm pretty sure Koyasu or one of the voice actors got in there with us. And I think I saw Amanda and her sisters in there somewhere, and at one point one of them was trying to break in somewhere because they thought that they were supposed to be inside or something? Eventually we made it to where we were supposed to be.
SUDDEN flash-forward to after the concert or something, and I was like "I yeah, I've experienced ALL this before, because I've been to the Baroque Festival before" but really I probably meant I'd dreamt this before, but I'm not actually sure if I had. But anyway, I was going around all confident that this person was gonna walk around this corner, and this person was gonna talk to me and I'd say this... There were chocolate-covered oranges involved, and a joke that was kinda uncomrfortably racist towards black people (???!?!?!!?!?!?!?!!).
And then we got to the 'big moment' that my brain apparently already knew about, and suddenly "You Could Be Happy" by Snow Patrol was playing in the background like some cheesy sitcom, you know how they insert like songs like that all the time nowadays. And Dr. Cox from Scrubs, YES HIM, drives up in his convertible 'cause he's gotta go, and I'm feelin' like the main guy from Scrubs, and we're like all looking at each other all serious, and Dr. Cox starts saying "Don't--" and I'm like "I know." And he stops and then nods his head understandably, and then drives off, but not without saying, "See you Clark," and I'm like "Why'd you say Clark--" (not like a joke, like it's a dramatic moment and he called me something different subconsciously or something), but he's already taken off.
And then I go home with my parents and the rest of the dream is a little depressing and boring and involves life-like conversations with them.
I woke up going "Man, you know, I really do like the main character from Scrubs. I'm just as socially awkward as him, and I try to be silly to be cool and stuff."
But yeah... I think I need to get more exercise.
