I just got Mushishi vol. 1, the English-translated manga, published by Del Rey.

In the end, the significance of this manga release really didn't hit me until the book was physically in my hands. Just... Oh my lord. It's actually here, in America. People are going to go to Barnes and Noble and wherever else and be able to see this and read it. I'm looking at the cover, which Del Rey has completely and totally faithfully designed off of the original, and I can't stop grinning. And the notes, THE MARVELOUS NOTES, at the beginning and end of it... They explain stuff about Mushishi that even in all my fangirling and research over the past year I didn't catch myself.
And they've translated the little inserts written by Urushibara-sensei, as well~ *0o0* I was planning on translating those myself eventually, but now it's been done for me! *laughs*
