Mushishi...COSPLAY COSPLAY COSPLAY
There's no two ways about it. I absolutely *have* to cosplay Mushishi.
But who? 0_0 Can't do Ginko, really... although if I could I'd be totally on top of that...
Nui?
-pros: I have long hair, it's just a simple (but semi-rare kind of) kimono, pretty recognizable character
-cons: I couldn't really fit her personality, and I'd have to get a colored contact and white wig anyway, too (one of the reasons I can't do Ginko, either)
Adashino?
-pros: Also pretty recognizable character, and I might be able to borrow marusaia's monocle...?
-cons: He's not really my favorite character actually; his voice actor will *always* make me think of Morita from Honey & Clover, so I can't separate the two. 0_o
Tanyuu?
-pros: LOVE HER, and her hair would be fairly easy to mimic with a cheap wig, and it'd be easily-recognizeable since she has a pipe, her crutches, and also I'd paint the bottom half of my right leg all black. :D Fun.
-cons: Kinda complcated miko-esque kimono, and the crutches would be kinda annoying to lug around

-pros: If I could find some temporary hair dye that would make my hair totally, totally green, I'd look TOTALLY like her; my hair's almost long enough, and just the right texture and stuff
-cons: Not-as-well-known character, and she's not necessarily one I was attached to, and her commoner's clothing would be a little difficult to make
Comments? Suggestions? How do you guys pick what character you cosplay? I tend to try to keep these things in mind, but I never know what should get priority, but I did star the ones I figured were probably higher priority...:
