Custom Hershel Layton Plushie! X3
As part of my Claire cosplay for NYAF/CC this year (and because I wanted it regardless of cosplay) I commissioned a custom plush from Crizl of College Layton as he appeared in Unwound Future since he's so damn adorable and it's very unlikely Level-5 will ever release an official plush of this version of him. ; n ;
I also wanted a large huggable Layton. X3
He turned out so cute and I'm so very pleased! ♥♥♥♥♥

This plush is referred to simply as Hershel. (Almost all my Laytons have some sort of nickname to identify them, lol.)
Height: 30 inches
Weight: 3~4.5 lbs. depending on what he's wearing
Cute Level: over 9000
I contacted Crizl in late April requesting that she make this plush for me. She accepted and in mid-May zillabean and I went to the garment district of NYC to shop for fabrics becuase I wanted nice fancy fabrics for him. (I did not get the fabric for the shoes.) And then in late September she started working on him until he was completed on October 6th.
He has two hats and a removable coat and ascot(? is that how it was called?) which are all very well made.
The hats are really really big! They don't fit me. And the coat is way too small for me. XD
I need to find some flexible cardboard to line the tophat to give it some structure.
Hershel's coat is way too big for Playtime Layton.
Look at the detail! I love the buttons in the vest.

His hair is this cloth cover covering his bald head. XD

These are the Laytons that stay on the one side of my bed with the exception Nice Condition Layton who resides in the Plush Drawer with the two Links, Zidane, Garnet, Vivi, Yoshi, Goomba and Nice Condition Layton Face Pillow #1.
