Computers and (especially) printers SUCK. Yes, even the Macs go rebellious from time to time.

HP or Epson? The only printer I have that hasn't given me huge headaches is the Brother laser printer--black ink only. Otherwise, I have very few good things to say about the afore mentioned brands...

Good luck with the printer and the mail merge thingy. May the Force Be With You...

It was the printer at the office, and it's a Brother laser printer. The envelopes just kept getting jammed all the way in the back where it's annoying to open. I had printed these envelopes on that printer once before and it didn't jam at all that time.

As for the address labels, I found the right template but the mail merge option wasn't selectable. So I tried using their online thing but it just wouldn't work so I tried downloading the program they have for macs but it would only do mail merge from Address Book and all the addresses were in an excel spreadsheet!

ARRGH!! It was so ANNOYING I gave up! >:(

They were like "aww, that's okay" and gave me something else to do. I was really disappointed because I was looking forward to folding all the letters and stuffing the envelopes. I like that part. (And I'm not being sarcastic.) I just really really hate dealing with printers. Especially when it involves envelopes!

I never tried to print envelopes through the Brother laser printer: I didn't think I could (too lazy to look it up in the owner's manual), but if the printer you use is anything like mine, it's not the easiest thing to use for that purpose.

I guess all printers are a pain in the ass when they want to be!

And I'm with you on the stuffing envelopes thing: for some reason, it's...soothing, in a Zen-like way... XD

The one at the office has this tray where you can load odd sized paper and envelopes. Usually it works alright. The main annoyance with it, is that it's always running out of toner... but lots of things get printed everyday so that's expected.

I actually don't have a printer at home, because I rarely ever have to need to print anything.

I like the repetitiveness of stuffing envelopes because I don't really have to think about it and it leaves my mind free to think about other more entertaining things.

We were watching Star Trek 5 last night with Sealy, and at one point the crew entered this cabin on the ship that was very classy and covered entirely with wood paneling. Gan goes "Wow, I bet she (you) would go insane."

AHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHA

But it was a classy wood paneling. You might like it ;)

That depends on whether it's real wood or that cheap fake shit from the 70's...
