Random Fandom Stuff
*I got the second volume of the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter: Guilty Pleasures graphic novel in the mail yesterday. It came in this uber-secure package and when I opened it I discovered a brand new copy still in the cellophane. It only cost me nine dollars with shipping. Woohoo!
*I read the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8 comic book installment yesterday. It was cute and funny, but it made me wish that Buffy would decide she really IS gay so that she can be with Satsu. Satsu is a better match for her than Angel or Spike or Riley ever could have been.
*The Anita Blake book I am reading right now (The Killing Dance) is made of awesome, and there is definitely a good bit of hot and sexy tension going on between some of the main characters--very HOT!
*Anita Blake could DEFINITELY kick Buffy Sommers' ass. Definitely.
*29 Slytherin votes and 20 Ravenclaw votes on my application over at platform_934 . Yay! Told you guys I was a Slytherclaw. I think the primary house may still be a bit off, but I know I will fit in in either place. The Hufflepuff votes are now up to 12...which I guess is okay too, except that I wish those votes would go to Ravenclaw. But, I know, I know...I'm part Puff. Apparently, I am a Slytherclawpuff...but I'm only claiming the Slytherclaw (who says a Slytherin can't have a little side of love and sunshine??). I have actually been labeled a Slytherclaw, a Slytherpuff (that's a rare one!), and a Slytherdor (WTF?). Someone might have called me a Ravenpuff too, but I am not sure. The common theme does seem to be Slytherin, so what the hell...I'll go where I go and I will own it, bitches.
*A number of people have complimented me in their votes about the spell that I would invent. Damn straight. And it only took me about two minutes to think that up, too. Because I had just had to walk outside with the dogs in the cold and I was pissed (I really shouldn't have animals...I don't have the patience as they are like kids and I love them but would like to give them back to their owners when I am done playing).
