yesterday was FANTASTIC!
rory, ben, anthony, and i went on an excursion. at first we were headed to the golden gate bridge park, but then we decided on a whim to go to a beach that ben knew.
so we drove north of sf and through pacifca, ca. then got there and walked down down down a cliff. and there was this beautiful secluded beach. a few ppl showed up and left while we were there, including one nude jogger and one nearly nude loather. but all was well because it was beautiful and warm. it was the perfect beach, small and cliffs cut it off from everything else, the tide was coming in (which surprised everyone at somepoint and we all got wet in our jeans,) it had rocks to climb up on and a little cave even. the seawater was green. PERFECTION!
rory and i both got a little burnt. without swimsuits or towels we left to return later this week before r and i head to the east coast where we will not get sunburnt and will not even fathom wearing swimsuits.
then we headed to golden gate and we were at the bridge during sunset. its a pretty long bridge, and seemed longer bc we were all walking kinda slowly.
now i didnt particularly in my thoughts of things to see while in california, consider the ggb, but it was spectacular. its like walking on a piece of art, with scenic views all around you. the colors were so rich up there. truly amazing.
today we're going into sf chinatown to have dim sum and walk around. there's a huge rain cloud over the city right now so we're just hopeing it will hold off on raining until tonight.
the plans now are beach thursday, r's babysitting friday and afterwards we're going to a contra dance.
