i'm alone if i'm with or without you. but just being around you offers me another form of relief.
i've decided my summer reading books: atlas shrugged, basic teachings of the great philosophers, and one flew over the cuckoo's nest. they all seem really interesting. atlas shrugged is over 1000 pages long though so it'll be interesting to see if i finish it by the time that school starts. i tend to start books and then take breaks as i lose interest and start reading new books. i really want to reread civil disobedience right now. i don't really know why but i just feel the need to read it. i really want to buy the world is flat but that book is over $30.
my left index finger hurts really badly right now. i don't really know why but it's mostly concentrated on my fingernail. i'm trying to think of what to write. i've written bits and pieces of various scenes and sentences but i can't come up with a solid idea to elaborate upon. it's rather frustrating. i need some ideas. i don't even know what pairing i really want to write. i kind of want to try riquelme/aimar but i don't know what to really write. question: does he go by juan, roman, or some other nickname? i'm trying to convince my mom that i should be allowed to skip school on tuesday so that i can watch germany's match live. it's a clash of wills. my family and alex (who practically is a member of our family) all want to go to a dynamo game. i don't know when or if it'll happen though.
it's kind of lonely in houston right now. my sister is working a lot and then doesn't like to be around me when i'm screaming at the tv when the wc is on. and both my closest friends are gone. :( astonish and def_poet42, come home soon! mer, i've been studying my maps of houston and looking into all the museums and places we could go in houston to meet up. my driving confidence increases every day. i think it's in part to the music i listen to while driving. :P i'm in love with fall out boy. is it bad that i want to read slash with them? is there even a community for band slash that doesn't have to do with the backstreet boys? because ick.
i love sunflower seeds far too much. it's ridiculous. i can eat through an entire large bag of them in a day. that's worse than me chewing an entire pack of gum in less than two hours. i'm watching the serbia and montenegro vs argentina match again. i really am beginning to love this team.anyways, i'm done with the randomness now. i have to finish typing up my presentation for tomorrow. and then i'm going to read some.
edit: i forgot. i love watching the nba finals. what can i say? i don't understand it really. i never watch the sport during the regular season. if the mavs lose this game though, i'll be very upset. i just have to say, harris is kind of adorable in a way. :P
edit: l'équipe has videos featuring quite a few players on their website. it's really quite cool. i never realized just how physical micha gets in his game. because wow. and i'm actually able to understand most of what's written on the site. it's so awesome. :D
