I know it's not my fault, but I still feel like I need to say this.

I am very, very sorry for the 80's. We were wrong, okay. I can admit this. The clothes were ugly. Most of the music was silly. At least the drugs were still good.

Unfortunately--we also made sex deadly.

So really--I'm sorry.

(Christ, no more VH1 Classic for me. None.)

Now, now -- we didn't make sex deadly. That was well underway before we got into the scene. Unless you were having sex by 1976.

Now, really, if we didnt make sex deadly, the 90s would have done so with amazing speed.

And our music was silly? Did you forget about disco? I mean come on NOW.

Yeah, I remember reading about AIDS in 1981-82. It was out and about overseas before that. Some of the music was fun. Don't forget that punk brought us Blondie and the 80's also brought some other pretty good female vocalists/musicians.
