Have you ever felt like you're a bit like Clark Kent / Superman (ignoring the obvious gender differences)? I seriously do. In the last year I've welcomed my hubby home for a break, then sent him back overseas, found out I was pregnant, gone through the whole pregnancy occurrance essentially by myself, got the hubby back and became the loving wife who actually has a hubby there while being the working woman, rev up for delivery, give birth, play the picture of motherhood while on maternity leave, then get the house to ourselves, go back to work, balance getting a house together, figuring out how to be a mom/working woman/wife... not to mention visits to grammie/grandpa's house & abuela/abuelo's house. *RaB* It's bizarre. Seriously.
Anyhow, I've been back to work a week now and I can't remember feeling more tired. My daytime has gone from totally devoted to Ethan, to totally devoted to work, then coming home to Ethan and trying to get the house straight, make dinner, get to sleep... but then Ethan wakes up a couple times.. *Sighs* His schedule's been a bit messed up shifting to total daddy care, which is cool, but I don't know how much longer I can take this multiple waking thing during the night. I'm ready for bed by 8, but stay up til 11 for Ethan's last feeding, only to get up @ 6 am for work, but Ethan woke up last night @ 3, 4:15, 5... *sighs* Cross your fingers for schedule adjustments and smoothing things out.
I don't know if this entry made any damn sense, but I'm heading to bed anyway... G'night!
Oh... did I mention I hacked off my hair?? *G* Oh yea...
