General health update

Ok, so the girls’ workout night ended up being a bust this time. Making another go at it, minus Koko, on Thursday. I’m really hoping this one works out. Especially since I didn’t meet my weight goal for January. In case I haven’t posted it up here, my goal is to lose 10 pounds per month in 2010. I only managed to lose 4. >_<

But this is the start of a new month. So, since on 2/1 I weighed 260, then on 2/2 I should weigh 250 (or less). One would think 10 pounds in a month wouldn’t be so hard, but when you don’t start trying to lose for that month until the 15th, it makes it a little more difficult.

Anyway, tonight is generally just cardio night, but I’m going to do my yoga too since I wasn’t able to yesterday. I think with my next paycheck, my “splurge” is going to be a new Yoga DVD. I’m really not crazy about the one that came with the set. It’s ok, and good for a short workout. I’ll probably keep it for when I start to incorporate a short session into my morning routine. But I want something a little more in dept… and where the audio track matches up to the visual.
