Bit of a Gap... Soon to be an even bigger one!
Bit of a gap in-between posts again there! I'm sure I can be forgiven.
Had a lovely Xmas and New Year up in Chester, spent a lot of time doing stuff, meeting family members buying Xmas Trees, buying a building wardrobes (that was entertaining...) one of the nice highlights was after making a giant stollen and, SB some mulled wine, sitting outside with people eating and drinking in front of a fire pit. : ) A very pleasant way to spend and evening!
New Year was a very civilsed affair of going out for a family meal followed by lots of nattering, not really impressing anyone with my poor guitar skills and drinking, again this year just about saw the bongs in!
It was though, sodding cold.... I'm not sure that I have actually experienced weather that cold to be honest, I had to steal a jumper, and quite a bit of time generally wrapped up in blankets, the appartment sooooo doesn't have enough blankets at the moment....
After 2 weeks of being up there I certainly did not want to come back down, and it felt very very odd leaving.
Also from this I am moving (I know I've been threatening and mumbling about it but I've actually set a date that I am working to now) that date is the W/end of the 21st Feb.
As you may have gathered I don't really intend to slink off too quietly so I was hoping that people could be co-erced into something W/end of the 13th Feb.
I did have in mind possibly going out for a meal somewhere and a few drinks. Nothing (she says) like Davids Pirat episode, I just don't think that could drink that much liquid... : P
So yes, if you think that you might be able to make it (not sure about eating on the Friday night or Sat night yet, poss sat earlish so we can do a selective mini pub crawl and then ensconse ourselves somewhere) please let me know.
