(no subject)
What have I been upto... Hmmmm...
Went to Chester, as you may have gathered this is somewhat of a regular event, but went to my first ever races! only put on bet on the end race (which didn't win) but had a fansatic day out. Had a picnic on the open court and got what I was very pleased to say a great shot with my brick of a digital camera - (which I will now add due to the majic that appears to have happened to LJ)
Was rather pleased with that as the timing was a complete random guess!
Other news, work related: HR manager is official in trouble. HR Director has /is investigating how and why access was on my email box and why once she was taken off access was allowed back on the next day. An official letter has been written and submitted. So we will wait and see how that one progresses. Let the wars commence, round 2!
I'm also now actually applying for jobs again up north. I was little annoyed to find out that he company that I liked were actually advertising what on paper was my job. Was a little dismayed to find out that after putting an application through on their website they didn't get it and by the time that I put a second application through they had offered the job. The evening before...! Gah. Oh well. I'll keep on at it.
Although on this one my manager has mumbled something about letting me sit the levels A&B on psychometric testing, maybe....
On another note, I'm toying with the idea of going to Rets Goth Halloween do, any thoughts of takers on this?
I was mostly intrigued by the Twisted Circus and Burlesque shows.
