Shouldn't I be working or something?
Today I was looking around online for dress ideas to sew when I realized that something was oddly wierd with the whole scenario.
The fact that I was at work while doing this was what set me off into the thought of, "hmm, aren't I supposed to be doing something?"
Strangely enough, I think about sewing or anything artsy while I am at work. My brain seems it's most creative when I am supposed to be focused on doing something important...like making money to pay for food, or my bills, or buy ingredients for my shop...or my sewing.
I have not really been sewing or designing this like I used to, which is a bit sad since I want that to be my major in college when I go. However, recently I have been on a real sewing binge. I have 3 dresses, 2 petticoats, 1 blouse and a pair of sock toppers in production right now, and all of them must be done before I leave for Megacon on the 11th of March. I started on Tuesday or Monday of this week; so far 2 dresses, 1 petticoat and the blouse are near completion. I feel rather pleased with myself. Everything should look really nice in my artist portfolio. ^^
