Beret nice
I have nearly finished the 'Sunday Pictorial Beret' from A Stitch in Time vol 2. It's a 1930s pattern and so easy. So far, after casting on I've used just two stitches, K (knit) and KFB (Knit into the front and back, ie increases by 1 stitch). Not even a Purl! And I think by the end I'll have used just one other stitch, K2tog, a knit-2-together decrease. This one is for a swap parcel, but it's so quick and easy I may well knit one for myself.
