HOUSTON!!!
Yesterday was one of the best days in the world. I went to the Houston bowl game with my girl Adrianna from Back home in RR. We headed down to houston at around 9:30 am. and got there at around 1230, but it really didnt seem like 3 hrs, it felt like 30 min. Then we drove through houston and it took forever, I did not know how big that city was and how many people were out then. TRAFFIC! somethign Lubbock doesn't have. Anyways... we went to Joes Crab Shack to eat lunch before heading to the game, and we met Adrianna's friend Stephanie and her sister. After that we went to the game, and had to pay 15$ freaking dollars for parking.... RIDICULUS! Anyhoo... we met Jeff, Alan, Bryan, and the rest of the Phi Psi's for tailgating, they were all drinking and Adrianna and I were just watching... We weren't in the mood to drink then. Then we left them to go pick up our tickets at the Will Call booth, and the line took FOREVER... blah! Then we finally went in to the stadium. We found out that our tickets weren't all too bad. They were on the END ZONE, but on the first level, so it was pretty cool. Anyhoo.. Jeff and David came and sat with us for awile, but then they left, and this one guy gave me the nicest comment. He wanted to sit next to me when they left, but Adrianna came, so he was like You took my seat, talking to Adrianna, and then she began to move and he was like na its okay, then on his way out he said take care and gave me a hug... that was sweet! I love Tech PEOPLE! Anyhooo.... The game made me think of Derek. Aww I miss him so much, he was the bestest ever... I hope that he is enjoying his Big Boat, and Traveling everywhere. I miss you Derek! On another lighter note... we creamed the Navy 38-14, well I dont know if you would call that a creaming, but I do! haha...its my journal I can write what I want. Okay so after the game, we went to A's friend Haley's house, and then went to 59 diner and had a hamburger, well i did they had their own food, but I ate off the kid's menu bc i'm cheap and it was allll good. Then after that we headed over to Amy's Ice Cream, and I didnt get anything, but i tasted the Shiner ice cream and it tasted just like the beer. WOW it is for ALCOHOLICS. Then after that they drove us around Houston, and i have never seen a city that big in real life. I was soo scared... I would get lost sooo easy. THATS IT, I'm living in a Small town the rest of my life!!! haha! After that we went back to Haley's house and parted our seperate ways, Then A and I headed to Katy from Sugarland (Thats where Haley lives) to meet the Phi Psi's. WE ALMOST GOT LOST... haha okay we did, but it was bc we don't think... mostly my fault bc I dont think at all... but its cool I dont have to think if i dont want to. Anyways... we got so lost that they even didnt know where we were, so finally we found the house, after like 30 min. And we hung otu there for a while, listening to them telling jokes, but A was getting tired so we decided to leave. Jeff walked us out and sat there for like 10 min trying to give us directions. WE were going to go back to Sugarland, but we couldn't get ahold of Haley, so we just decided to head back to Austin. We left at like almost one, and Adrianna is a speed deamon and we made back in 2 hrs... it was great. Then we crashed at my place, and I slept alll day today!
