Two weeks
We've been in our new home two weeks tomorrow. The kitties get to go out to the backyard for the first time. Luckily it's raining, so I doubt they'll want to be out there very long.
I really wanted to get out tonight. My "going out buddy" Laura is home sick with strep throat. So I just went to Trader Joe's. It's great to have a TJs in Oly. But I was sad to find out they've discountinued their sheets of puff pastry. But, on the upside, Peppermit Jo Jo's are here for the holiday season. I bought two boxes. I also bought some maple creme cookies. They've received rave reviews on various websites.
On the moving in front-my clothes are all unpacked. But, my shoes (and John's shoes)continue to be a jumbled mess at the floor of the closet. I was in Target today looking for a shoe shelf. I found a couple of different options. But I need to measure the area it's going in.
I got a full 8 hours sleep last night, and boy can I tell a differnce. I'm going to bed pretty soon. Of course, I won't be up at 6:30 like I was this morning. I have a 9:30 hair appointment. That is my only commitment for the day. The rest of the day lies open in front of me. I have a lot of Netflx movies to watch. Also the head IT guy loaned me the entire series of Firefly. He swears I'll like it. So, I need to be a good doobie and at least watch one episode.
