Writer's Block: How Soon Is Now?
What an incredibly thought provoking and tough question to answer.
At first though, of course isn cancer. All forms of cancer.
But then I started thinking about what diseases have touched my life more. Well, it's not cancer, but auto-immune diseases. My Father's body was ravenged by diabetes and it eventually killed him. One of my best friends has adjusted her life to her rhumitoid arthritis, I worked for a while with the National Mulitple Scelrosis Soceity, people with that disease will always be close to my heart, and on a very moderate level I deal with auto immune issues because I have psroriasis.
If the scientist could find a cure for one of these, they'll soon find a cure for all of them-they are all connected.
Cure for cancer AND a cure for auto-immune diseases is what I want.
