This is the best article on the post- and counter-revolution I have read. It must be read. Please take a minute to read it. By implication you'll also learn about what the counter-revolution means and the tactics employed by the army, NDP and MBs.
Apparently revolutionary spirit is not sustainable. It sweeps up everybody and breaks everything beautifully, but after a time only those who are progressive and/or rich enough will or can continue change in that style. And Egypt is a poor, conservative country. Radicalism's spent here. It's time for politics.
