Today was bliss. Got in at ten for a project meeting with the girls, and then learned that our afternoon meeting was cancelled, giving us the entire afternoon free.  After our meeting finished, I managed to edit and proof an article and write a short proposal for a project. I mean, in actual physical/idea labour this isn't much at all, but knowing in what spectacularly unproductive ways I normally work, this was mind blowing.

Lilian's boyfriend arrived to stay this evening - prompting double entendres all afternoon, honestly just the fact of us all being girls and away from our boyfriends basically reverts our sense of humour back to age 11 or something - anyway so I stayed away from home until now. Will do tomorrow night also. Ji Yoon is away so offered me to have her flat for the weekend, but sorry, I'm not decamping away from my home comforts, if Lilian wants more privacy than she's getting she can stay at Ji Yoon's. And oh the teasing. Christina: 'They're probably fucking on your bed right now.' THANKS CHRISTINA.

It'll all swing my way when N gets here. He's planning on taking a week holiday to stay with me some time in March. It cannot come quickly enough. ('NOR CAN LILIAN' would be the chorus if I was with the girls right now. We truly are a bunch of sex starved schoolgirls.)

Christina had Clare, Ana, Tao and me round for dinner and then we went to the opening at W139, completely bullshit show full of posers. Not even any hot guys. Ana and I entertained ourselves by daring each other to do stuff to the painting we were standing near. I started by touching it. She then licked it. I upped the ante by biting it, and then she put a tiny bit of red wine on it. It's fine, it's a household paint-painting, you'd never know.

I hereby congratulate myself on my cycling. I can now do all those cool Dutch things like cycle along chatting to Ana, swing off my seat before I come to a standstill, and cycling drunk. This last is essential to your social life in Amsterdam as there is no other way of getting about. I love how nobody would dream of either wearing a helmet, or remaining sober, in order to cycle here.
