So, in the news in Philadelphia recently has been the scandal over the death of a 14-year old girl with cerebral palsy who starved to death.  The Department of Human Services (social workers) had failed to check her regularly at her Mother's house, and she died.  Now the parents - the ones who callously watched her starve - are suing DHS for failing to force them to feed their child.  This just boggles my mind.
