Allow my to unveil Project X; Vintage Karma
I've been working on this for a while now and I've hinted at it a couple of times. It's a 20 page introduction to a longer comic that I hope to slowly plug away at over a longer time, mainly to practice on but also just to get something finished^^
Vintage Karma is about seventeen year old Lexi Peach, who through simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time, winds up working as a housekeeper for a snobbish and unprecedentedly messy family of aristocrats with more money than sense. As Lexi is plunged head first into this warped world of the obscenely rich and influential, how will she cope with the pitfalls and when will her patience run out?
The idea for this sprung up a while ago and I'd considering drawing it after I'd finished Natalie, but then something came up at college surprisingly. I'm now drawing this as part of an extended project for the sixth form enrichment scheme. Basically that means I can draw comics and get UCAS points for it! All good!
I was surprised at now many of the others on the project are doing something similar; My friend Subrina is designing the layout and achitecture to a Japanese house and Fez is writing and drawing an original Tin-Tin strip entirely in french! Good eh?!
I'd like to know what you think^^ Also I should have a cover for this finished by the end of the month that I'll also post up. This is going to be available for may expo (which is a crazy while off:p) so I'll re-mention this nearer the time to remind everyone.
