Xmas toys
Here is my view on some toys to check out for your girls & boys. Toys I already got recently so I can vouch for their adorability
WiFi - get that 54g wireless hub & PC-Card for the boy in your life, provided they have a laptop. Cost around £120
Compact Camera - Oregon Scientific DS6638. This 2mp camera is tiny, tiny and can interpolate to 3mp. It also takes SD/MMC memory so can be expanded. Cost £100 from the gadget shop or Dabs etc..
Graphic Novels - These always go down a treat at Xmas especially now there are some new artists out there, check them out. Most excellent!
DVDs - pick up the DVD of those films that you never quite got around to seeing at the Cinema, the price war means many of these are sub £15
DVD/CD burner - LG do one that does all formats for around £120, I have one and it is most excellent, though you will need a decent burning suite such as Roxio.
MP3/WMA Car CD player - for less that £100 you can get one of these (we have a Panasonic) and it gets around having to get a cassette adaptor if you are lucky enough to have a cassette player in your car or an FM radio transmitter if you don’t.
