Virgin Media in the wonderful aim to give me the best service have removed Sky1 (and associated feeds) from their service. I am aware of the debarkle with BSkyB but as a customer I don’t care, it is up to Virgin Media to ensure its supply lines work and not try and pass the grief/ownership onto me. Bad Virgin Media, bad!
Well some weeks without Sky1 has some benefits, for one you realize that the rest of the eight bazillion channels are not worth watching.
So now having given Virgin Media the chance to “gief Sky1” we have begun the process to bring the Sky1 back from its source.
When all done we should have (for the tekzors inside us all)

- BT phone line in - check
- Sky+ ordered and install date arranged - check
- Phone extension for Sky+ - still looking at wireless alternative
- ADSL - waiting for Sky+ to work, one thing at once
When all done we should have (for the tekzors inside us all)
- Phat internet - DSL + ADSL + dual Wan router, after all Internet needed more than TV
- TV Sky+ and Basic Cable package, and may even drop cable TV
- Phones 1x BT, 1x Cable
