hey guys. it's me again. I'm home.
and now I'm not really sure what to do with myself.
I start work again on tuesday. I wasn't supposed to start until august, but my mom called work and told them I could start earlier, without asking me.
but that's okay. I need the money. I'm pretty much broke.
sooo yeah.
I don't remember the last time I updated. but I'll just tell you about the last few weeks.
cornerstone was sooo fun. the people I went with (Chris, his sister Cassie, her friend Krystal and Chris' friend Kyle) were great. we all got along pretty well, and had some good times. I didn't see that many bands (like usual) but I did see Showbread twice and David Crowder Band. that was neat. david crowder reminds me of caleb. they sound exactly alike. it's crazy. I probably ate more fast food than I ever have in my life. there's this black guy in showbread that does all the screaming. his name is ivory. we all thought that was pretty amusing. gosh. the people I went with were hilarious. we had some good times. those chingi. =D
the ride home was greeeat... two and a half days in the car. oh boy.
it actually was pretty good until the end. chris got sick when we were almost in cali. that wasn't good.
then I stayed at his house for two days, which was really nice. I love his family. and him. we had a picnic, then he took me to this reptile zoo/store thing (or chingis, if you will). it was so cool! they had tiny tortoises, and giant tortoises. and we got to feed a bunch of painted turtles. those things were vicious! and there were huuuge fish swimming with the turtles. and they had giant lizards and snakes and such. it was neat. then I spent the night on the plane, a day and night at home, and the next morning I left for mexico.

mexico was incredible. I learned so much. we did a lot of things. mostly we went out and ministered to the people, and did some construction for a church there. it was amazing how willing the people were to listen to us, and be patient with us. most of us didn't speak any spanish, so everything was through translators. but they didn't mind. they were so willing to listen to what we had to say, and ready to accept the Lord. it was amazing. we could tell that God has been working on their hearts for quite a while, so that when we got there we were able to lead 14 people to the Lord. God just blessed us all so much through that trip. I can't say it enough.

and I have to go now. maybe I'll post more later.
