No wonder I was down and out! Not only am I PMSing, I crashed! :p Phooey!
Ah well. Hasn't happened in a few months, so I suppose I was due. I can't wait until my brain heals all the way. *sighs impatiently*

Things I didn't type about last time:
Went to Anime North! I think I scared Leloi from the Inu Yasha fandom by trying to control my fangirl impulses, but she could see it in the depths of my eyes (OMGITSLELCANIHAVEYOURAUTOGRAPHOMG!!!!). I babbled for a bit, but I ended up bowing out when I could tell she didn't know what to do with a rabid "I love your fanfic" girl before her. If only I was more coherent in that stage.
Of course, that was also after two virtually sleepless nights because my bedmate Cyas thrashes in her sleep. That isn't so bad, but her fiancee is out of town, and in her sleep, she decided to start substituting one pudgy German for another. Legs wrapping around mine, burying her face in my chest.. second night I got my hip squeezed which nearly sent me through the ceiling. It's not her fault, I just have some deep psychological scarring that, well, touched a very deep-seated panic when it happened, since it happened with no warning. She didn't even know she was doing it, and seemed very embarrassed about it. But still, Mel with less than 8 hours of sleep over two nights.. not good.
Another good thing.. I actually got into "Beat the Otaku"! I didn't win the final round (I knew all the "otaku's" questions, but I didn't know mine. Darn luck. *shakes fist* Of course, I was really, really lucky in the first rounds, so I guess it evened out. So I placed first, and got two "how-to-draw" books in the original Japanese and a "Fist of the North Star" figure. Very cool. (Wish it had been Rei, though. Oh well. :p) I mean, the first round "shounen" questions were all "Inu Yasha". *grin* I was even wearing my IY t-shirt. *evil cackle*
My toe getting run over? That was leaving the con. ^_^;; My friend who was driving thought everybody was in the car, and I wasn't. So he started driving. But I'm none-the-worse for wear.

The good first! I'm gonna be in McDonald's Jeopardy! 36 stores in our region are going to have a Jeopardy tournament in mid-August, with four people (three crew and one manager) from each store in each team. The store who wins gets $1200 to split among the contestants and a bunch of other prizes! We're working hard already, quizzing each other and we're DETERMINED to WIN!
Not competitive at all, are we? ^_^
Not really any bad news. Just annoying customers. Had a lady yesterday during lunch period who took 286 seconds to finish her order. 286! We're supposed to totally complete the transaction in 90 seconds or less! ARGH! She was polling her kids on what they wanted, trying to make up her mind, yadda yadda. Yeah, it was over $20 in food (mostly dollar menu items), but it wasn't worth the aggrivation.
If you don't know what you want, please come inside. The purpose of drive-thru is to be FAST!
Second runner up: The lady who I thought said she wanted four "Bacon Ranch Chicken Salads". Come to find out, she said "Bacon Ranch Chicken WRAPS". ^_^;; Ummm.. we don't have those. She ended up finally deciding on the new flatbread.
Anybody know what restaurant might have these famed "Bacon Ranch Chicken Wraps"?

Writing? Finished a 797-word challenge fic that well.. I'm proud I could be so bad. ;) Have more ficbits written out, and have done a whole bunch of notes {MUSE! NO. MORE. NEW. STORIES!), but no honest progress since Anime North (where I finished the first chapter of a fic in a completely new fandom. *sigh*). Had a huge urge to work on finishing "Ai no Koinu" Chapter 6 a couple days ago, but ended up crashing instead.
