Alien (1979)
Summary:
Ridley Scott's sci-fi horror classic stars Sigourney Weaver as Ripley, a tough-as-nails warrant officer who stares down one of the most terrifying movie monsters of all time: a bloodthirsty alien that stalks and eviscerates its prey. As the deadly creature winds its way through the air shafts of the spacecraft Nostramo, the crew members consider deploying the ship's escape shuttle … but there's only room for four people.
Opinion:
OH MY GOD. Background (if it's needed right now), I keep seeing Prometheus trailers and decided, "Hey, I should go back and watch the Alien series. That's logical." So I did, and HOLY SHIT. Great movie, although I was laughed at by my mother when I kept jumping and screaming every other time the alien came on screen. Sigourney Weaver was awesome as the lead. I didn't know what to expect going into this movie, honestly, but I loved it (even if it did scare the shit out of me.)
