I still check LJ every week but my updates seem to have slowed down to about at least once per month. Here's the first for August! Sakuya visited and went, it was a great time!

I found out two days ago that my dad got laid off from his job. We actually have been expecting this for quite some time now since he's in the age bracket that are too expensive to keep and companies probably would prefer young, fresh, and cheap hires. Our economy still pretty bad so I guess it's understandable.

He'll try to find another job, but I'm not sure who would hire him at this age-- maybe he'll think of something, though. The company took back their laptop, so I let him borrow my netbook for now. I'm thinking of buying him a laptop, though.

On a different note, I recently tried to bid on an eBay auction and found that I was blocked from bidding. All I did was ask the seller if he could post some photos of the game, and he replied saying "it's just a game... what do you want a photo of?" and I replied that his listing said there might be sticker residue, but the truth was I just wanted to see if the graphic was ripped or not. I told him to forget about it. He replied saying in all his years of selling, he never had anyone so concerned with sticker residue on something you could replace with a different case, and that's why he asked. So he blocked me from bidding after that when I was going to purchase. It was actually my first time seeing something like that, so I searched Google about it. I didn't even know there was a function like that! Well, my money is definitely going elsewhere but I guess he just had a lot of trouble bidders or something. Not going to recommend him to friends, that's for sure. Don't buy from this guy on eBay: nrfbtoystore Sellers on eBay can block you for anything, so the more questions you ask, the higher the chance you'll get blocked if they simply don't like what words you used.

Hum, what else. I'm hoping my dad being laid off won't affect my upcoming trip to Japan in October... my brother wanted to buy a car, but we probably shouldn't, I guess. Though, I'm pretty sure because my parents knew this would happen they probably saved up enough money. I did save up a lot of money for Japan but if they need it, I'm willing to give it to them instead of going to Japan. I don't make much from my job and this would be a once in a lifetime chance of meeting someone that is coming from Korea, but if they ask for it, I will give it.

Oh, one big thing happened. Well, it's a big thing to me. My sister moved back home after breaking up with her boyfriend, so now we have both cats in the house. Both cats that aren't neutered (because my sister thinks it's cruel) and so we always have to have them separated. It's rather annoying and she already caused a few fights over something silly. The fights always arrive when she arrives, and I should be glad that she just seems to sleep all day.

I feel bad for these animals in our house (and the dog that was in our house) because my sister was the one that got them all. She doesn't really have a lot of time to play with them and I warned her everyone at home is pretty busy...

Just a lot of bad luck in one part of the year, but nothing terrible compared to what I've gone through before. I did notice that my mood dropped even before all these things happened so I think I'm just going through a lull. I'm sure I'll come back up soon enough. I always do. Just a lot of stuff on my mind.

Edit: Whoa, all these bad things (i didn't write about some) happened within the last few weeks! Hope they disappear soon.
