POUND CAKE.
You know what this is? This is procrastination! I am going to update my LiveJournal instead of doing my required artwork / translation work! Hooray!!
Something random: because of a Costco sample, my house now has a ton of pound cake. How did that happen you ask? Well, my parents and my brother went to Costco where they had those samples set up... and my brother tried some pound cake and loved it. You see what happened there? Oh... remember the time my brother paid me 10 dollars for a can of Pepsi...? Oh, right, that's another story. I won't go into that unless you're curious.
So, this pound cake: it's fucking delicious. The last time I had pound cake must have been in high school or earlier, because I can't for the life of me remember when I've had it. While chewing it I can only think "I wish they had chocolate chips" but then if I had chocolate chips in them, I might get tired of eating them sooner because it'd be perhaps a little too sweet.
Anyway, it's a lot of pound cake. I mean a lot. I get overwhelmed by just how much there is, but once I take a bite, it's like HAPPINESS
Next topic: in March, there's a Touhou-only event by the name of Reitaisai. It's like Touhou's biggest event of each year... I think I've mentioned it before, but I'm too lazy to go back on my entries to check what I have written about. I have already written about the Parsee only book (it's linked in the entry before this one) however through my friend, I was able to have Doyora join an overseas project. I'm very excited to see the book when it's finished! It's about Touhou spellcards, very similar to the "Grimoire of Marisa" book.
The same artist who is running the spellcard project also gave me permission to edit and translate one of his comics from Japanese into English. I'm also trying my best to edit the sound effects and found it's very difficult to translate. Still, doing my best. Editing the English effects in are a little difficult as well, but this has been quite a good experience so far. It's a Touhou doujinshi but if the artist gets around to posting it after I am finished, I'll post it here if any Touhou fans here are interested. (And if I'm allowed.)
Oh gosh, what am I doing with myself? Really! I'm getting myself into so many projects. I know that it won't pay me enough to survive off of, but... I suppose I'm in the position where I'm lucky enough I can do something I like for now. Can't do this forever. Must find a job eventually. Probably have to do the normal 9-5 job again... sigh.
