CrunchGear is a pretty big site, isn't it? Nothing can stop the news now, it's spreading. They also had a typo, the first paragraph has it listed as "iTablet" and the title has "iTable"... and... when I first heard about the name for our multi-touch, I also thought "... couldn't they think of anything better than the usual i[xxxxxxx]...?" PQ Labs is our hardware counterpart, 22MILES does the software and single touch stuff. We're essentially the same people, same location.
I think I was pretty silly in the video, the only cool part was at the end of him sending the peasants to kill one of their own in Warcraft III. The video was taken yesterday... there is a portion of it with 22MILES' developed program, that's the hotel directory stuff.
Today I met famous gamer Fatal1ty, where one of the very first questions I asked him was his real name. I wonder why they don't use it more often!! He kicked my ass in Quake 4... not that I've played much of the Quake series, but that's fine too. I also met a few other people from the Fatal1ty booth, I hope I don't get killed for saying that one of his staff was really pretty...
They came to our booth and I showed them Warcraft III on the multi-touch and it was filmed as well, so I think when CES is over, there will probably be a video going up.
In other news, I hope typing this in my LiveJournal doesn't cause any trouble and I'm tired of standing on my feet all day !! One more day of CES and finally I can go home and sleep in my own beeeeed!
