we're baaaaaaaaaaaaack

The graduation was great. Seeing my family was awesome. We went to Duke Gardens and saw little quarter-sized baby turtles in the pond and their "wild rabbits" which are the size of chihuahuas.

I have to get to Sac City soon and see if I'm still registered so I can sign up for fall semester. I'm more than ready now and it's something I HAVE to do. I'm tired of feeling like I'm not doing anything with my life...that I could wake up in 20 years and be all "well...time to start another fun-filled day with the full-service deli..god I want to die". I have to step down my work ethic a smidge...I can't let my job be more important than my school again, we see how well that one turned out.

But WOW, do I need to start makin' money.

We went to petco after we got back and got around 2 hundred-and-something worth of cool shit for the rats and turtles. The turtles now have plastic plants that they can't fuck up and turn the tank green with in a matter of a day (but believe me, he's tried) and larger bedding rocks that make the tank easier to clean. Woot.

Instead of the 'rat palace' they now have a freakin' kingdom with a sleeping cabin thing, 3 stories, and a hanging wheel that doesn't squeek.

Maybe I'll turn into one of those old bitties at the dog park after all...
