*He starts a bit when he wakes up before realizing he's back in his house...and that that's Shion's hand brushing against his forehead. He blushes a bit as he sits up.* Thank goodness...do you think it's over now?

[She squeezes his hand a bit, nodding a little and actually lays down to curl near him]

[Shion looks at Allen, and smiles. Her voice is playful, but serious too]

Of course not. That Brother of mine has always been as stubborn as I am! Put him by a rock, it'd be really hard to tell the difference!

[She pauses and takes his hand gently from her shoulder, holding it instead in her own.]

[Shion nods a little, and lays there a while. It's been a while since she laid with someone beside her like this. She pauses at that thought, and looks at Allen, a little guiltily. After a moment she smiles thought and squeezes his hand.]

I know I said I wanted to get to know you better, without the memory of Kevin, but... somehow, laying here like this reminds me a bit of him, and of when he died.

He protected me, but I felt really alone and wanted to die with him. I was so happy to see him alive, but then, when you spoke I felt a bit angry at him too. He left me behind.

Yet, you didn't leave my side, even during all of that. It's strange.

[She gives him a dirty look, but it isn't really angry. Maybe she's too tired to fight, or she's been humbled by the thought of death. Finally, she sits up a bit.]

Want pancakes for breakfast? I'm actually starving.
